Thomas Sabo
My friend and I went to the Westfield style showcase yesterday, and whilst the styling was nice too, I absolutely fell in love with the Thomas Sabo jewelery some of the models were wearing.
Too gorgeous.
I need that shark ring to live. And the little bulldog charm; so cute!!
Check it out here

sydney adventures
Spent the entire day walking the city shopping before seeing Alice in Wonderland in 3D at IMAX!!
Absolutely exceeded my expectations!!

We found this wonderful vintage store with quite the impressive collection of fur coats, which is interesting in Australia!! :) I now vow to make monthly pilgrimages to said store...

Some street art and a delicious English lolly store in Darling Harbour

And for good measure, my roommates cat...
he clearly missed us!!

Happiness
Thank you soo much to my daily style inspiration over at Obsession Du Jour for passing this my way; now I will endeavor to narrow down the top 10 things that makes me happy (in no particular order) :
1. My Boyfriend. Cliche I know, but I've got to give the boy props for putting up with me for almost 6 years, and pretending to be interested when I talk at length about designers and patterns. Also for pretending to like peplum skirts and shoulder pads because he knows I do.
2. Swimming. I know I'm always bitching about the heat, but I love swimming at the beach.
3. Shopping with my housemate-slash-best friend. Actually, anything with her. She's pretty rad!
4. Horse Riding. I've loved everything horses since I was little!!
5. Reading everyone's blogs!!! Fashion makes me :)
6. The Libra 'Wonder-boy Man' commercial. Seriously, if you don't live in Aus, youtube it. It's hilarious. I laugh everytime...
7. Going home to visit my parents. I heart them
8. When you are walking in the rain, then you get home and you can change into your warm pajamas, and cuddle up under a blanket with a hot chocolate! It's heaven!!
9. When it's cold enough to wear hats, a scarf and gloves :)
10. And finally... going to Melbourne. I love you and miss you Melbourne
Tag, you're it:
Fashion Hayley
Time Travelers
The Vintage Valley
Natalie Off Duty
Flair to Remember
Best of LMFF so far...

I'll take one of each, naturally!!
Gosh, I am so obsessed with that Toni Maticeveski sheer dress! I think I dreamt about it last night. And I love the black and grey panels in the Yeojin Bae dress too...
wow, I wish I was in Melbourne right now.
But tonight I am getting the next best thing!!! Tomorrow is my best friend's birthday, and we are going to Sydney for the day to shop and see Alice in Wonderland.
So excited!!!!!!
I'll take pictures

Harper's Bazaar + LMFF =
The L'Oreal Melbourne fashion Festival starts this week, and alas I cannot be there (sigh, next year for sure). Though, thankfully through the wonder of the INTERNET, I can feel like I'm there.
It opened Sunday night, with a re-creation of one of my favourite-ever fashion shoots from this months Harper's Bazaar, where Aussie celebrities and designers dressed up as iconic childrens story characters.
Anyway, see for yourself:
Teresa Palmer as the White Rabbit

Runway:

Rachel Taylor as Cruella De Vil

Runway:

Natalie Imbruglia as Minnie Mouse

Runway:

Jenny Kee, Linda Jackson and the Sydney's Fashion Fraternity as Fantasia

Runway:

photo shoot and runway
