Presenting: Anthony Capon

Ok, so obviously I am obsessed with project runway, and this year there is a contestant on our Australian version who totally knocks my socks off every week, so I have to talk about him!

This week, the contestants had to make 3 womens wear outfits for summer 09/10 that flow cohesively. Oh, and they only had EIGHT HOURS. They were given 3 assistants each, all of whom were first year fashion students - so not much help - and they had to choose 3 other students as models. Anyway, Anthony rocked it!! Especially the jacket that the boy is wearing... I've been obsessing over it for the last 2 days!

i desperately need to inject some color, or maybe a beautiful print, into my wardrobe.
I don't know what it is about winter, but I always just end up wearing black, white and gray the whole time!! Kill for that yellow coat :]

Ugh, I am hating today.
It is so beautifully, unseasonably warm outside, but I am stuck indoors writing up 2 huge essays that are due tomorrow. Well, that was the plan! Instead i'm trawling the internet looking for fashionable people and watching a much younger and thinner Jennifer Love Hewitt playing Audrey Hepburn. It made me think of the original. If only I could be as delicately beautiful and sweet...

yes, I am absurdly aware how cliche it is to love Audrey, but I don't care. She's wonderful!

Well, it's 4:33am, and as usual lately I can't sleep... So it got me organizing. My sister is having a fancy dress theme party for her 21st next weekend (Ugh, I hate when they don't actually choose a theme, it's too broad!) and I have been stressing because I need a costume idea that is cool, but still allows me the financial security to buy food for the next week, and I think I've finally got it!

toga, or grecian princess... something like that!

So simple... all i need is a bed sheet and heaps of gold accessories, which i already own. A bit generic, I know, but it's not often I get to have dress up parties, so the idea is not too cliche just yet.
Anyway, that incredibly long and pointless lead up is to tell you why I had to post these pics of Keira Knightly. I'm feeling inspired!

P.S The party is on a boat in the middle of winter... this could turn out to be a horrible idea! I'll post pictures after.

super duper excited to be back. I used to have another blog, but so much time has passed since I was on there, it's time for a fresh start, I say.
And here goes...

I am currently (and have been for a while now) obsessed with blazers, and they're a perfect choice for the Australian winter. See, usually I am left completely jealous of my European counterparts in blog-land when they get to wear all their beautiful trench coats, layers and thigh high socks in winter - which gets you some funny looks over here where the weather rarely dips below 18'c, even on a super cold day.
Wait, where was I? Oh, Blazers..
I would kill for the Alexander Wang pink cut-out number, but I fear it might be a little out of my price range right now, so I'm keeping my options open...
